Paul has a wealth of experience in the financial services arena having founded, built and sold Bankhall Investment Associates – Britain’s largest IFA support services business. His entrepreneurial flair has seen him make further strategic moves into the financial services market with Paradigm Partners LLP where he is the Senior Partner.
Paul is responsible for overall strategy for Perspective.
Group Practice Director
Since joining the family business in 1989, Ian has gone on to turn Rutherford Wilkinson in to one of the most forward thinking advisory businesses in the north of England. As well as being Managing Director at Rutherford Wilkinson; Ian also sits on the main Perspective Board as Group Practice Director, responsible for all practice related matters.
Ian has a wealth of experience in delivering financial services to corporate clients and a small number of private clients. His ability to understand business leaders’ key concerns and ability to recommend strategies to rapidly achieve meaningful results has led to significant success. His success is perhaps down to his “no nonsense” approach.
Rutherford Wilkinson were finalists in the CII’s “Chartered Financial Planners of the Year Award” for 2011 and 2012 and were shortlisted for MoneyMarketing’s Corporate Adviser of the Year 2012 Award.
Group Regulatory Director
Julie is responsible for the design, execution and oversight of the Group’s Regulatory Framework. Julie is a main board director of Perspective and also sits on a number of Perspective subsidiary Boards. Julie holds the Diploma in Financial Planning, is an Associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and sits on the Association of Professional Financial Advisers (APFA) Council.
With nearly two decades of experience in the Financial Services industry, Julie is a specialist in Regulation, Risk and Governance. Previous experience includes working at Paradigm Partners LLP as a Business Consultant to IFAs and Bradford & Bingley as T&C Manager. Prior to this Julie worked as a financial adviser.
Group Operations Director
David is a PWC qualified Chartered Accountant who spent five years at PWC before joining Perspective in 2008 to manage the acquisition strategy. David is a Fellow of the ICAEW and is responsible for operational matters, acquisitions and integration across the Group.
David is Director and Company Secretary and also sits on a number of the subsidiary Boards.
Group Finance Director
Paul is a KPMG qualified Chartered Accountant with over 25 years experience in Corporate Finance, Private Equity and Board Directorships. He spent 10 years in the Banking sector, latterly with RBS Acquisition Finance, before moving into Private Equity in 1999 with Aberdeen Asset Management. In 2006 he co-founded Mosaic Private Equity. He has extensive Board experience, both executive and non-executive, in a variety of sectors. He has held previous Directorships with companies such as Brookhouse Aerospace (now Kaman Corp), Styles & Wood, Inspirepac, Fish insurance and Citation Plc and is currently actively involved on the boards of Perspective Financial Group and Woodall Nicholson Holdings amongst others.
Mike qualified as a solicitor with London law firm Lawrence Graham in 1992. In 1995, he joined Addleshaw Goddard in Manchester specialising in corporate finance and private equity transactions. Mike left Addleshaw Goddard in 1999 and joined Aberdeen Asset Managers Private Equity as an Investment Director where he was responsible for all aspects of private equity transactions, post investment management and strategic development of investee companies. Mike is a founding director of Mosaic Private Equity, which he co–founded with Paul Newton in 2006. He has extensive boardroom experience over 15 years with board positions including Plaxton Limited, Citation plc, Inspirepac Limited and Fish Administration (Holdings) Limited.
Group Financial Controller
Glenn is a qualified accountant with 20 years experience having worked in practice, both Public and Private sector, covering Financial Services, the construction industry and diverse PLCs.
Post acquisition Glenn is responsible for the implementation of procedures and financial reporting within the group accounting function and the establishment of reporting structures and internal processes as required within the Perspective group structure.
