I joined Perspective in 2016 having begun my career as accountant in the leisure sector and worked for two of the UK’s largest banks.
I began my career in Finance as an Accountant in 2003, working for one of the UK’s largest hotel and leisure businesses, gaining the AAT qualification. From 2007 onwards, I worked in the financial services sector including for two of the UK’s largest Banks, and then in 2011 as an Independent Financial Adviser, before joining Perspective in 2016.
Throughout this time, not only have I been dedicated to providing advice to both professional and private clients, I have continued to develop my knowledge in all areas of financial advice and have obtained qualifications to achieve the status of Chartered Financial Planner. I have a wealth of knowledge which allows me to be confident in providing advice in all areas, such as Inheritance Tax Planning, Pension Planning, Investments and Tax Planning.
I enjoy working as part of an established team, and value making strong connections with accountants and solicitors in order to be able to provide the most appropriate advice, and the highest level of service, to our clients.
By creating a partnership with my clients this enables both myself, and them, to fully understand what it is that is truly important in their financial planning process. I believe that building relationships with clients is integral to any successful Financial Planner, as this instils confidence, faith and empowers them to make informed decisions.
In order to provide my clients with a visual representation of how their money can work for them, I utilise cash-flow modelling in my day to day planning – this provides my clients with the ability to take control of their financial future and to achieve financial independence. I feel that this is a vital tool in providing clients with a bespoke financial plan.
