He is a member of Perspective’s Advisory Board and specialises in advising individuals on investing, and retirement and estate planning. The most enjoyable part of his role is helping people achieve what is important to them in their lives.
Mark is one of a relatively small number of financial planners the UK with Chartered Financial Planner status. Mark also holds the STEP Certificate for Financial Services – Trusts and Estate Planning qualification. He is always on the look-out for further qualifications that will improve his skills and knowledge.
Mark is a past winner of the Money Management Financial Planner of the Year award and has served on the board of the Institute of Financial Planning (now part of the CISI) with responsibility for the professional development of financial planners. As well as making contributions to the Financial Times Money Makeover series, he has been a regular commentator on financial topics both to the public and within the profession.
