His career began in corporate banking, where he gained experience across Corporate Trust, Loans Agency and Custodial Client Services before retraining as a Financial Adviser in 2018. This broad background gives him a deep understanding of both financial markets and personal financial planning.
He holds the full CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, alongside qualifications in Long Term Care Insurance (CF8), Trusts (J02), Discretionary Investment Management (J10) and the CISI Level 6 Private Client Investment Advice & Management qualification. Matthew has a particular interest in investment planning, taxation, trusts and estate planning, helping clients structure their wealth efficiently while keeping their long-term objectives firmly in focus.
For Matthew, financial planning is about far more than investments and pensions. He focuses on building lasting relationships, taking the time to understand each client’s circumstances, ambitions and concerns before creating a plan tailored to their needs. What he enjoys most is helping clients gain clarity and confidence, whether they’re preparing for retirement, navigating a major life event or simply seeking greater peace of mind about their future.
