John joined Perspective in May 2023 when Brighter Financial Services joined the Group as Perspective (Brighter).

John has been with HSBC for almost eight years, firstly working as a mortgage associate, then as a mortgage adviser for First Direct for 2 years and then in sales quality checking mortgages and protection for almost 4 years.

He studied for DipPFS before he joined Brighter in Nov 2020 as a trainee independent financial adviser (IFA) and mortgage/insurance broker before he became a full-time independent financial adviser (IFA) in 2022.

As an IFA he reviews pensions, investments, insurance, estate planning, and mortgage broking for personal and commercial clients.

He finds financial matters interesting because it’s very much like working out a puzzle, with the outcome of helping clients achieve their financial goals.
