I guess you could consider my silly name interesting? I got it, when my parents were on the way to the hospital when my mum was in labour, they still didn’t have a boys name they liked but when they drove past ‘Gosport’, my dad joked ‘shall we call him Gosport’ and my mum said ‘no, but we’ll call him Goss’. And they did and its been a pain ever since. He holds the Diploma for Financial Advisers (DipFA) and has extensive experience in retirement planning, helping individuals prepare for and transition into retirement with confidence. He also has significant experience supporting clients with inheritance tax mitigation as part of their wider financial planning.
Goss believes that good financial advice starts with getting to know clients as people. By taking the time to understand what matters most to each individual – whether that’s their family, lifestyle, aspirations or concerns for the future – he is able to provide clear, practical advice tailored to their personal circumstances.
The aspect of his role that Goss enjoys most is building long-term relationships with the people he advises. He finds it especially rewarding to hear clients’ stories, understand their goals and help them feel more confident and secure about their financial future, particularly as they approach and enjoy retirement.
