Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager. You will be responsible for identifying and developing sources of new clients and revenue via professional connections, through building strong relationships both internally and externally. Key to your success will be flows of new clients and revenue, preferably from having established joint venture companies with both Accountancy and Legal Firms across the UK.

Location: Home Based
Hours: Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm with a one-hour break (35 hours)
Salary: Competitive, dependant on experience and qualifications (available upon request)

Job Requirements
- Dip PFS or equivalent L4 qualification as a minimum.
- Proven experience and success in business development in a similar environment.
- Experience as a Financial Planner/IFA useful.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software e.g. IO
- Full & Clean UK drivers licence.
- Travel as required.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, sector knowledge, market research and from working closely with internal colleagues.
- Build strong relationships with all parties.
- Develop and deliver a compelling message about working with Perspective and the benefits of what we offer.
- Create a business plan at outset that will be reviewed quarterly as a minimum.
- Negotiate agreements/terms and agree paperwork.
- Close collaboration with internal marketing and sales teams to ensure support is in place and that plan is being delivered in line with company goals.
- Maintain accurate records of contacts and successes, for accurate reporting to Directors.
- Hit agreed sales activity and revenue targets.
- Represent the company at events as required.
Due to the nature of the business, the role may also include additional responsibilities considered reasonable.
