Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and curious BI Data Analyst to join the Central BI team. The role will focus on uncovering data trends and visualise key business metrics by building and maintaining high-quality Power BI reports and enabling data-driven decision-making across the business.
Office: Perspective Financial Group Ltd
Location: Home Based
Hours: Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm with a one-hour break (35 hours)
Salary: Competitive, dependant on experience and qualifications (available upon request)

Job Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX and data modelling.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to explore, interpret, and present data clearly.
- Experience working in a financial setting: knowledge of popular terms, entities, KPIs.
- Familiarity with statistical techniques and data exploration methods, and ability to build them as Power BI visuals.
- Basic SQL knowledge for comfortable navigation and querying of databases for data exploration.
- Curiosity, initiative, and strong communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, including data modelling, DAX measures, and relationships.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into effective data solutions.
- Perform insightful financial data analysis, including statistical and outlier analysis, to highlight trends, opportunities, and gaps.
- Explore data sources using basic SQL for validation, exploration, and problem-solving.
- Take initiative in identifying new reporting opportunities and providing meaningful business insights.
