Head of Marketing

Perspective Financial Group Ltd / Group Marketing

Job Description

We currently require a highly motivated individual with a friendly and confident manner to support and manage our marketing department. Candidates must hold a professional marketing qualification with the ability to develop strong marketing strategies to develop Perspective’s brand. 
Office: Perspective Financial Group Ltd
Location: Home Based 
Hours: Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm with a one-hour break (35 hours)
Salary: Competitive dependant on experience and qualifications. Available upon request.

Job Requirements

Role holders will be motivated, friendly and professional at all times. 

  • Experience in running a Marketing Department within a Financial Planning business. 
  • Creative ability.  
  • Good knowledge of compliance, TCF, Data Protection Act and Anti-Money Laundering requirements.
  • Good analysis skills, money management skills and planning skills. 
  • Ability to manage own workload.
  • Flexibility/ adaptability to cope with change.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.   
  • Accuracy and attention to detail. 
  • Computer literature and a good knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe PDF, Adobe Photoshop and e-marketing software.
  • Diploma (HNC/HND), degree or professional marketing qualification.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing.

Job Responsibilities

The key duties of the role are listed below. 

  • Strategy - Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategy.
  • Brand development – oversee the positioning and  development of the Perspective Brand.
  • Market resource  and analytics – continuously monitoring market  trends, competitor activities. Keeping in touch with what the competitive  landscape are doing and striving to be the strongest brand in the market.
  • Client retention  and engagement – support our network of branches to  nurture their clients. Manage the programme of events, such as seminars  and conferences, including logistics and advertising. 
  • Working with  Professional Bodies and other key sector specific providers on  collaboration initiatives. 
  • Joint Ventures – support the implementation of Joint Ventures. 
  • Client surveys –  support the branch network and Compliance Department in delivery client  surveys. 
  • Digital  marketing – leverage digital platforms to drive  client engagement and ensure firm’s digital presence is optimised. 
  • Content   Development – creation of high-quality, relevant  content (market insights, educational materials, thought leadership). 
  • Documentations - Ensure the business has excellent brochureware and client material.
  • Keep up to date  with financial products and legislation and comply with all industry rules  and regulations.
  • Work with AI, understanding  how it can assist the department. 
  • Giving  presentations and producing reports.
Due to the nature of the business the role may also include additional responsibilities considered reasonable by the Company.
